When I was young, I loved to write. Not necessarily books, but just write, or doodle. So much so, one year Santa Clause brought me an entire box of note pads! I was so excited. As I grew older, I thought about writing a book, but didn't think I could do it. About ten years ago I started working on my first novel. Finished it, and attempted to get it published. I even had an offer, but thought it sounded a little shady, so I didn't take it. It took quitting my full time job and being quarantined by Covid-19 to get me to write my first book. To clarify - I didn't have Covid-19, we were just asked, like many of you out there, to stay home. So I did. And I wrote, "Welcome Home to Murder". I hope you enjoy it!
Do you have a dream you're afraid won't come true? I worked in a company with a wonderful COO who used to write a quote on the white board in his office. There was one that stuck with me. "A wish is only a dream without an attempt." So my advice to you - don't let your fears get in the way of your dream! It may take you ten years, but dreams can come true.
